Manager Anthony Deer is very pleased with the three points after an "o.k. performance" from the ressies.
Playing on a disaster of a pitch Deery was minded to call the game off because of the dangerous conditions. "There was 3in long grass and pot-holes everywhere" said Deery, relieved that there had been no serious injury.
Max Ciano opened Bay's account then Stuart Fitchie scored a wonder-goal before Danny Cook completed the win from the spot.

FA Cup Preliminary Round

Chipstead logoHaving disposed of Redhill in the opening round of this years FA Cup, Bay move another step closer to Wembley on Saturday when we take on Chipstead at Winch's Field in the Preliminary round.
Chipstead beat Whitstable Town 2-1 in the Ryman Div 1 South fixture on the day of our victory against Redhill which was the same margin we beat the Oystermen by two weeks ago. But does that mean anything?

Bay have been drawn away to Erith Town in the second round of this season's Umbro Kent Senior Trophy (first round bye) to be played on Saturday 13th December 2008. The winner is drawn at home in both the Quarter and Semi finals.

Bay reserves are drawn away to Chatham Town on 4th October in the Kent Intermediate Cup.
