Tuesday 22nd July
Pre-season friendly
Herne Bay 3
Lewisham Borough 0
Lewisham came to Winch's Field determined not to be whipping dogs and they were certainly not that.
Bay's superior fitness and skill finally won through as Bay eased to the finishing line. Rhys Lawson opened the scoring before Adam Todd got a magnificent solo goal, finishing from almost 30 yards out. Rhys wrapped up the scoring with a beautiful chest-down and turn.
