This Bay side today made club history by getting through to the last eight of the FA Vase with a wonderful 1-0 victory over Larkhall Athletic. James Campbell hit bay's 86th minute winner to top a superb team performance.
Bay played with 10 men after Tom Parker got his marching orders in the 28th minute but still managed to keep Larkhall at bay and go through to a quarter final game away to Shortwood United on Saturday 3rd March.
Let's spare a thought for the luckless Larkhall side who's journey back to Gloucestershire must have seemed like a million miles.

The moment Bay were through. James Campbell has scored the only goal of the game and the delight of the Bay players and supporters is clear to see. So is the disparing look to the lino by a Larkhall player hoping to see an offside flag which wasn't there. match report

Of course the club are now frantically getting transport ready for the trip to Shortwood on 3rd March. The 51 seater coach will leave Winch's Field at 08:00 SHARP.
There are only 8 seats left to fill. The club will arrange for another coach if there is sufficient demand for one (we will need at least 40 people on it) so it is even more important to get in touch if you want to travel with the club.
Bill Dordoy and Ron Boddy are the people you need to contact to book your place. Bill can be contacted on 07748 992525 and Ron is on 07515 647530. The fare is £20.00 to be paid by this Saturday.
Please let them know as soon as possible so that they can make sure everyone can be accommodated.
Bridon Ropes hosted a friendly with the under 18's and graciously lost by 5-2. Bay's scorers were Harry Ledger (2), Ben Tamplin, Connor Halsey & Liam Petts.

How good are your eyes? the small print lists the players names and will appear on the finished picture in the clubhouse. Dan Eason had the silly glasses on for this shot.
